About Welcome Reception
Featuring one of our major sponsors — women-owned local business Crunchy Hydration — and their chakra-aligned drinks, along with mocktails and delicious cheese and charcuterie boards and a chance to meet new friends and mingle with practitioners, workshop leaders and wellness vendors.

About Sound Bath
We will start the weekend with a sound healing experience. Gently tune into your body, mind, and spirit and explore if an intention emerges. Let the sounds of violin, singing bowls, chimes, and other healing instruments help carry you into a safe space where you can let your worries rest, be still with yourself, and feel your emotions. Open up to releasing what no longer serves you and invite in peace and healing. Sheila Sheppard will play violin and singing bowls, and Doreen DeSerres-DuJardin of Nature's Spirit Aromatherapy will play singing bowls and a variety of healing instruments.

Sheila Sheppard has offered Reiki and GIM (Guided Imagery and Music) healing services to the Eastern Shore of Virginia community since 2016 through Paloma Wellness, first in Cape Charles and now in Onancock. She also offers live sound healings playing violin and singing bowls, and coordinates community wellness events and classes such as Mindful Happy Hours and Root and Flourish Healing workshops with GIM.

About Lunch and our Keynote Health Talk
Everyone will receive a delicious box lunch from a favorite Cape Charles eatery, Edible Picasso. Our speaker, Dr. Michele Davidson, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, certified nurse midwife and forensic nurse who founded Chesapeake Bay Psychiatry specializing in Women's Health. Dr. Davidson attended Marymount University for her nursing education as a registered nurse, and later received a BSN from George Mason University. Dr. Davidson holds a MSN and certificate in nurse midwifery from Case Western Reserve University and a PhD in nursing administration and health policy, and a post-master's certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, all from George Mason University. She will give a brief talk and be available for a Q and A on any health issues you would like to discuss.

About Labyrinth Walk
The labyrinth is an ancient pattern that can help you create an inner space of sanctuary, a place where you can slow down and intentionally focus on aligning body, mind and spirit, asking for guidance or learning to quiet your mind. Walking the spiral pattern of the labyrinth in a mindful way can allow us to become conscious of our breath and prepare us for meditation, and the walk itself can be a meditation. The labyrinth path meets you where you are in your life and asks nothing of you, it merely invites you to walk along its path one step at a time. By doing this, you might discover greater peace, a doorway into your intuitive wisdom, or clarity regarding an important question.
